Description
A postdoctoral position is available to study interactions of ribosomalcomponents in a project aimed at acquiring nucleotide sequence data fromthe translating ribosome (the NIH’s $1000 Genome Initiative). Experiencewith molecular biology, biochemistry and fluorescence methods are required.
Our project addresses labeling methods and molecular mechanisms allowingone to obtain fluorescence signals from a translating single ribosomalparticle. More detailed description of the project is available at: http://njmsmicro.umdnj.edu/index.php?option=com_content&;task=view&id=96&Itemid=73.
