Postdoctoral Fellowship available in the laboratory of laboratory of Dr.Ya-Lin Chiu at the Gladstone Institute of Virology andImmunology/University of California, San Francisco, to study innateimmunity against HIV and human retroelements, focusing on APOBEC3G andrelated APOBEC3F enzymes. We are seeking a highly qualified andmotivated individual with a strong training background in molecular andcellular biology. Experience in virology, molecular biology and/orRNA-protein biochemistry is required. Experience with genome-wide 5iRNAscreening, lentiviral-mediated gene silencing, confocal microscopy andlive-cell imaging are highly desirable, Candidates should also possess aPh.D. or M.D/Ph.D. degree.
