A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Psychiatry atMount Sinai School of Medicine (New York City). Our group has recentlyidentified a 5HT2A/mGluR2 receptor complex implicated in schizophreniaand psychosis(www.nature.com/nature/journal/vaop/ncurrent/abs/nature06612.html). Theresearch projects are focused on the investigation of the structure andfunction of the receptor complex in vitro, in mouse models, and inpostmortem human brain. Expertise in G protein-coupled receptors (GPCR),molecular biology, neurobiology, neuronal culture and animal work isdesirable.
