Description
A fully supported postdoctoral position is available in the Viral Vaccine Program at Seattle Biomedical Research Institute, in the area of HIV vaccine-development. The successful candidate will be involved in characterizing the neutralizing antibody responses elicited by various candidate vaccines and participate in the optimization of these vaccines. Previous extensive experience in molecular biology is a must. Excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a ‘team spirit’ are required.
The research, which is funded by the Bill & Melinda gates Foundation, will be conducted at the Seattle Biomedical Research Institute (SBRI) in collaboration with other Institutions. SBRI (see www.sbri.org), is an independent, non-profit research institute that is affiliated with the University of Washington. SBRI’s research facility is in the fast-developing South Lake Union biotechnology hub that is home to many research organizations on the forefront of life science research.
