Ph.D. in life sciences or chemistry with under 3 years postdoctoral experience or Research Technician with 5 years experience.
Job Description:
The successful postdoctoral applicant will participate in an interdisciplinary program directed at studying DNA damage, repair, and mutagenesis in mammalian systems with potential human carcinogens. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skill in molecular biology, tissue culture, light microscopy, expression of cDNAs in both bacterial and baculovirus, protein isolation, transgenic mice, preparation of mouse embryonic fibroblasts, siRNA, mutagenesis and/or carcinogenesis assays, hplc, fplc, Western blotting, immunoprecipitation assays, immunohistochemistry, RNA extraction, DNA extraction, reverse transcription, PCR analysis, flow cytometry and cell sorting, as well as the ability to design and implement enzymatic assays. Applicants must also have good oral and written communication skills and they will be required to have an intellectual role in the development of the project.
