Description:

Virulence of the intracellular pathogen Legionella pneumophila

Highly motivated scientists with a strong background in molecular/ cellular microbiology, cell biology or a related area are invited to apply for a position at the Max von Pettenkofer-Institute, LMU in Munich.

The successful applicant will develop a project aiming at a mechanistic understanding of intracellular replication of the opportunistic pathogen Legionella pneumophila, including a screen for small molecule inhibitors.
