Post-doctoral Position:
Apoptosis Deregulation & Targeting in Cancer
Dr. King F. Kwong

A post-doctoral Fellow position is available in our laboratory at the Center for Cancer Research, NCI at the US National Institutes of Health. The laboratory functions as an integrated basic and translational research program in the area of developing novel treatments which target the apoptosis pathways in cancer.

The successful candidate will be involved in basic and translational research efforts directed at examining the biology of apoptosis deregulation in lung cancer and also the development and evaluation of novel therapeutics in both cell culture and mouse model systems.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D., combined Ph.D./M.D., or equivalent degree in molecular biology, with receipt of the last graduate degree within the past 5 years.

A strong background in cellular and/or molecular biology and previous research experience or training in cancer research and/or apoptosis is preferred. Previous work experience with mouse models would be helpful.

Initial appointment is renewable up to 5 years. Stipends are commensurate with education and experience.
