Description:
Postdoctoral Fellowship – Genetics & Biochemistry Branch, NIDDK, National Institutes of Health (NIH), Bethesda, MD, USA. Our research focus is the study of genome instability, DNA repair, and cellular responses to DNA damage (see Mol Cell 2006 22:501; J. Cell. Bioch. 2008 105:245). Experience in biochemistry, protein chemistry or molecular biology is desirable.
Foreign scientists (must be eligible for J-1 visa) as well as U.S. permanent residents and citizens who have recently obtained their Ph.D. (within 1-2 years) or are completing their Ph.D. studies are invited to apply. The ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required.
