The postdoc will be part of a research group in the Department of Physics at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) that develops novel computational and theoretical models for complex fluids and biopolymers. The project involves close collaboration with cell biologists at the WPI Life Sciences and Bioengineering Center, located at the recently constructed Gateway Park in Worcester, Massachusetts, and at other institutions.

A Ph.D. in soft condensed matter physics, biophysics or related field is preferred. Strong programming skills in C, Fortran and Matlab is required. Experience in coarse-grained simulation techniques such as Brownian dynamics, as well as image processing is a plus.
