Description
FIMM, the Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland, is recruiting a postdoctoral candidate to join a dynamic and creative new Helsinki research group. Our focus is molecular- and systems-biological approaches to study novel regulators of cell cycle deregulation and cancer predisposition. We will use both in vitro and in vivo methods with a translational aim. The qualified postdoc will collaborate with researchers in neighbouring new research groups, and is therefore given a unique opportunity to build a strong academic profile.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a PhD in the field of cellular biology, cancer biology, or biochemistry and have a demonstrated track record of innovative scientific publications. Experience with mouse model systems is desirable, but not essential.
The salary for the post will be based on the University of Helsinki salary system.

The Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland (FIMM) is a newly founded Nordic partner of the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL).
