Description
A post-doctoral position in basic breast cancer research is available in the laboratory of Dr. Karoline Briegel at the Braman Family Breast Cancer Institute of the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. The successful candidate will design and conduct experiments that will contribute to our understanding of the transcriptional control of breast cancer development and metastatic tumor progression using different human cell and mouse model systems.
Applicants must have a recent Ph.D. in the Biological Sciences; experience in molecular biology and cell biology; experience in the analysis of transgenic mice and/or Xenograft mouse models; experience with human tissue culture cells and in vivo RNAi, as well as outstanding communication skills and the ability to work in a team oriented environment. A background in mammary gland biology or breast cancer research is preferable.
