Description

Postdoctoral positions are available in the laboratory of Jianlong Wang, Ph.D., Department of Developmental and Regenerative Biology, Black Family Stem Cell Institute, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, NY 10029. The positions are funded for the study of biochemical basis and regulatory circuitry for self-renewal and pluripotency of mouse and human embryonic stem cells (and induced pluripotent stem cells). Studies utilize both in vivo mouse and in vitro cell culture models (Wang et. al., Nature 444: 364-368, 2006; Wang et al., PNAS 105:6326-6331, 2008). Applicants should have experience in mouse and/or human ES cell culture, and prior experience with laboratory mice and protein co-immunoprecipitation, and knowledge of affinity purification would be a plus. Applicants should have Ph.D. and/or an M.D. degree.
