Post-doctoral positions are available in the laboratory of David Spanerfor translational research projects in cancer
immunology, funded by the CIHR, NCIC, and OICR. The laboratory studiesimmunomodulatory signaling in B cell cancers and
melanoma (eg. Cancer Res 67:1823, 2007) and is especially interested inthe roles of a novel extracellular calcium receptor
(Blood 110:3985, 2007) and intermediary metabolism (described inOncogene 27:208,2008) on signaling processes in such

require a recent PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, or immunology.Experience with mouse models, tissue culture of
cell lines and primary cells, flow cytometry, microscopy, and geneticand protein techniques are desirable. The lab is
located within the Discipline of Molecular and Cellular Biology at theSunnybrook Research Institute with access to all of
the opportunities provided by the strong research environment inToronto.
