An NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available immediately to studythe contribution of endoplasmic reticulum stress responses to thebiology and virulence of the opportunistic human fungal pathogenAspergillus fumigatus. Ph.D. in eukaryotic microbiology is preferred,but highly motivated applicants with related experience from otherfields will be considered.
The ideal candidate should have experience with eukaryotic cell biology,gene cloning, protein/RNA expression analysis, infection models, andhave excellent communication/writing skills. Experience with subcellularfractionation or microarrays is a plus.
