We Currently Have The Following Opportunity:

Computational Biology Team Lead

This position will work within a dynamic and innovative Biological Profiling team to deliver biological profiling research projects targeted at better understanding complex disease and providing a deeper knowledge of drug discovery targets and the pathways within which they reside. The primary duties of this position will be to lead a team of scientists to develop, apply, and integrate innovative, cutting edge, computational biology approaches to large scale profiling experiments. This position will specifically require knowledge in the areas of data mining and analysis, statistical modeling approaches, experimental design and biostatistics, mathematical algorithm development for predicting functional consequences of mutations, optimizing data calling algorithms required for specialized genomics applications, pathway mapping, bioinformatics, and biostatistics. The candidate will be responsible for the supervision and career development of 3 scientists in the field of computational biology. A key responsibility of this role will be exemplifying scientific excellence and the engagement of cross-line disciplines to solve complex scientific problems to increase the efficiencies of the drug discovery process.

PhD or equivalent in computational biology, genomics, or related life sciences field, prior experience, 5+ years relevant experience in the field of genomics, comprehensive understanding of human genetic/genomic study design and analysis, proven track record in computational biology, supervisory experience preferred.
