Positions are available immediately to work on ongoing studies onBreast, Colon, and Prostate Cancer Research
Under the direct supervision of the Division Chief and Senior StaffMembers, the Post Doc Fellow will be responsible for running andmaintaining a Cancer Tissue Repository. In addition to his/her primaryresponsibility, this individual will participate in ongoing researchprojects in Breast, Colon and Prostate Cancer in minority populations.The tissue repository responsibility is a long term commitment. Musthave experience and interest in application of Cell Culture Techniques.Should be able to troubleshoot, and resolve technical difficulties. Thisis a career opportunity.
Candidates must have experience in Cell and Molecular Biology and/orTranslational aspects of Cancer research. Demonstrate long term careergoals in cancer research. Must be self motivated and have somedemonstrated experience in: Cell Biology/Tissue Culture; Protein/GeneArray; Tissue Mirco-Array; DNA Mismatch Repair mechanisms; SignalTransduction; Gene Polymorphism; and Mouse Tumor Models.
