Description:

The University of Minnesota Dental School is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to conduct research under the direction of Dr Mark Herzberg. The goal of the project is to establish mechanisms of augmenting intracellular resistance to microbial invasion in a manner suitable to advance quickly to translational and clinical applications. Expertise in gene delivery methods, protein expression in eukaryotic cells, confocal microscopy, FACS, qRT-PCR and Immunocytochemistry is preferred. Applicants possessing one or more of these skills will be given special consideration. Knowledge in the areas of innate immunity and mucosal immunology is a plus.
