Pfizer- King’s College Research Collaboration
King’s College London (Guy’s Campus)
Pfizer are funding an exciting initiative with King’s College London. The remit of this collaboration at the Wolfson Institute for Age Related Diseases, is to carry out research in the area of peripheral mechanisms of pain. The research projects are aimed at deciphering factors that control and contribute to the excitability of primary sensory afferents.
There are two positions immediately available to join this collaboration; a Pain Neurobiologist to join the team on a permanent basis and a three year postdoctoral position. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates with expertise in cell biology and or electrophysiology. Experience in Pain research would be an asset but is not essential.
