Description:
There are several postdoctoral positions available in the Hahn laboratory at UNC-Chapel Hill. Our lab emphasizes rapid spatio-temporal dynamics of signaling networks, with a parallel effort developing new strategies and molecular tools to study signaling in living cells and animals. For more information see hahnlab.com, Nature, 461: 104-110, 2009, and Nature, 461: 99-103, 2009. These positions are in part funded by an NIH Transformational Award for collaborative work with the Danuser lab, merging biosensor and quantitative imaging approaches for network analysis.
UNC-Chapel Hill is located in central North Carolina midway between the coastal island beaches and the Smoky Mountains National Park. It is in a center of academic, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical research, neighboring Duke, NC State, and the Research Triangle. Initial appointment is for two years with the possibility of renewal.
