Description
A postdoctoral position is available at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, to study beta cell regeneration in the Zebrafish islet. We previously developed a drug inducible system to specifically ablate beta cells in embryonic fish. Following a period of recovery, beta cells are observed to regenerate. Our goal is now to identify the progenitors of these regenerated beta cells using genetic inducible tracing techniques.
