Description
A 4-year Walsh Fellowship is available to work on an inter-institutional project between Teagasc (Animal Bioscience Centre) and Trinity College Dublin. Combining standard and state of the art techniques, including Next Generation Sequencing, we aim to understand the molecular regulation of the uterine immune response in post-partum cattle. This project will consist of field, bioinformatic, immunology and molecular biology components.
Applicants should have a BSc (2.1-1st class hons.) with experience in bioinformatics, genetics, immunology and/or molecular biology. Stipend is €21,000 p.a. (tax exempt and includes fees). Student will be registered in TCD and primarily based at the Animal Bioscience Centre, Grange, Co. Meath.
