Description

A two-year post-doctoral position, funded by the ATIP-CNRS programme, is available from September 2009 in Cédric Maurange’s newly established group.
We seek to identify the genetic programs and molecular mechanisms regulating the proliferation and differentiation potential of neural stem cells in Drosophila (Maurange et al. 2008. Cell).
Our group is part of the Institute of Developmental Biology of Marseille Luminy (IBDML), a major research center located in Southern France. The institute is composed of over twenty groups working in the area of developmental biology, neurobiology and associated pathologies, and is equipped with state of the art facilities, providing altogether a stimulating scientific environment. English is the working language in the lab and in the institute.

Qualification
　　Candidates should have a PhD in molecular biology or related disciplines. Experience with fly genetics, transcriptomics, epigenetics or imaging will be considered advantageous.
