Description
The Institute of Psychiatry is an internationally-renowned Centre of Excellence for the study of the brain and mental health. It is associated with the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust, and is a School of King’s College London. The CCBB represents a considerable expansion in Neuroscience at the Institute, with four main research areas: Molecular Neuroscience, Neural Stem Cells, Neurobiology of Mental Health, and Neuroimaging and Behaviour.
We would like to invite applications for a 3-year fixed term post-doctoral appointment. The post-holder will work on a project funded by the Medical Research Council investigating the molecular and cellular mechanisms by which genes increase risk for schizophrenia. The successful candidate will have experience in molecular biology techniques and a PhD in a relevant field.
Starting salary will be £32,917 pa (inclusive of £2,323 pa London Allowance).
