Description

Our research projects focus on novel aspects of the extracellular matrixand the regulating signalling pathways under physiological

and pathophysiological circumstances in regard to heart failure. Inparticular the pathophysiology in the differentiation,

functionality, and biology of fibroblasts regulating matrix as well asinflammatory cells will be investigated in vitro, in human

cardiac samples as well as in vivo in transgenic mouse models. The workwill be integrated in a research project located at the

Charite, Berlin, Germany.
