Description
A postdoctoral position is available to study synaptic plasticity in neocortical microcircuits, using electrophysiological and optical techniques in brain slices. Our research focuses on the functional properties of chemical and electrical synapses, the role of astrocytes in modulating synapse dynamics and retrograde signaling via endocannabinoids. Candidates should hold a PhD, MD or equivalent degree. Experience in cellular physiology and/or imaging techniques is desirable.
