Postdoctoral Research Assistant
£27,466 – £33,780 pa

Sir William Dunn School of Pathology
Applications are invited for the post of Postdoctoral Research Assistantgrade 7 funded by a grant from the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative(IAVI). The postholder will work in the group of Prof. Quentin Sattentauon the study of innate immune activation in the context of adjuvantdesign for new generations of vaccines against HIV-1 and otherinfectious agents. Aspects of immune pathology triggered by innateimmune activation will also be considered. The postholder will beexpected to carry out independent research work within the group and tocoordinate elements of the broader research programme. Prior experiencein the field of immunology is required. The post will be for one year inthe first instance, renewable for up to three years.
