Description

A Postdoctoral position is available in a project that will identify and validate drug targets in Trypanosoma brucei. The project is part of an international consortium whose goal is to generate a robust pipeline of anti-trypanosomatid drugs with product profiles that are needed for advancement to clinical trials and deployment. This role provides excellent opportunities to work within a team in multiple labs that have extensive complementary expertise, technical capabilities, facilities, and ongoing studies pursuing the most promising directions for drug discovery. S/he will carry out research for target validation in Stuart lab at Seattle Biomedical Research Institute (www.sbri.org), an independent, non-profit research institute that is affiliated with the University of Washington.
