A postdoctoral fellow position is available to study the molecularmechanism of aging and cancer. We are interested in the DNA damageresponse pathway, which is important for maintaining genomic stabilityand tumor suppression (Nature 421:957-961, 2003; Nature Structure andMolecular Biology, 12:589-563, 2005; Molecular Cell, 21:201-14. 2006).In addition, we are interested in the regulation of protein deaetylaseSirT1 and its implication in aging and cancer (Nature, 451: 583-6, 2008).
