Postdoctoral Research Assistant/Associate (reference 13928)
This Wellcome Trust funded post-doc Research Assistant/Associateposition based in the Departments of Biochemistry andPhysiology/Pharmacology is available from 1st June 2008, in thelaboratory of Professor Paul Martin where we use several model systemsto study the genetics of wound healing and inflammation (see www.embryowound.info).
You will be involved in researching how the inflammatory response givesrise to fibrosis and scarring (eg see Mori et al, J. Exp. Med. [2008]205, 43-51). You should hold or be about to obtain a PhD and be skilledin cell biology techniques.
If successful, you may be appointed either on a fixed term or apermanent contract depending on the extent of your previous relevantresearch experience. Further information can be found at http://www.bristol.ac.uk/personnel/ftc/
