Description
A postdoctoral position is available immediately to study the roles ofmicroRNAs and smallRNA-regulated pathways in skin carcinogenesis usingmouse skin as a model system and human tumor samples (squamous, BCC andmelanoma). Highly motivated individuals who are interested intumorigenesis, gene-therapy and/or epigenetics are encouraged to apply.
This position provides the opportunity for considerable creativity &innovation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gainexperience and training in molecular biology, transgenic/knockout mousetechnology, and cell culture.
Applicants must have a Ph.D., M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. Hands on experiencewith basic molecular biology techniques such as cloning, PCR, RT-PCR,RNA isolation, Western blots and immunoprecipitation is a must.Experience with in vivo animal models is a plus. Knowledge andexperience in tumor biology, skin biology, or epigenetics desired.Candidates must be able to work independently.
