Description
Postdoctoral position available to study the molecular alterationsinduced by fatty acids in the liver of animal models of type 2 diabetesand to identify gene targets to develop effective therapeutictreatments. The position will encompass a variety of techniquesincluding GeneChip analysis, small interference RNA, production ofadenoviral vectors, as well as generation and characterization of animalmodels. The trainee will benefit from a close interaction with clinicaland basic science departments, and gain experience in state-of-the-artgenomics, molecular genetics, cell biology, and animal modelmanipulations. Candidates should have a PhD degree and experience inmolecular biology or biochemistry.
