A Research Associate/postdoc position is immediately available in aneuro-oncology laboratory studying malignant brain tumors.
The candidate should have a Ph.D. (with or without M.D.) in cellbiology, molecular biology, oncology, genetics or related area.Experience in cell culture, gene manipulation, genetic and proteinanalyzes, and animal models will be an asset. Candidates must haveevidence of successful writing endeavors, excellent written and oralEnglish skills, and a desire to manage independent projects as well assupervise other projects in the lab. A longterm commitment is also of interest.
Our lab focuses on cancer gene identification, gene regulation,signaling pathways, in vitro and in vivo studies, pharmacogenetics,developing molecular-based targeting therapies. We have access toextraordinary resources in the including numerous core facilities,skilled personnel, & senior scientists.
