Description
NIH funded openings available to study (1) epigenetic regulation ofneuroectodermal specification and (2) functional implication of humanneural cells in neurological disorders. PhD background in developmentalbiology or neurodegeneration is required. Experiences in proteinchemistry, bioinformatics, molecular biology, electrophysiology/imaging,or small animal microsurgery are highly desirable. The Zhang laboratoryfocuses on the regulation of neuroectodermal specification, neuron-glialswitch, modeling of neurodegeneration, and functional implication ofstem cell derivatives in neurological animal models.
