Biomedical researchers and clinical scientists at the Lankenau Institutefor Medical Research (LIMR) focus their studies on cancer and heartdisease, while aiming to improve prevention, detection, and treatment ofthese diseases. LIMR occupies laboratories located on the campus of theLankenau Hospital, just west of the city of Philadelphia. LIMR is partof Main Line Health, one of the major health care providers in themetropolitan Philadelphia area. LIMR faculty are affiliated withJefferson Medical College and the Kimmel Cancer Center at ThomasJefferson University.
A postdoctoral position is available at Lankenau Institute of MedicalResearch (LIMR), Wynnewood, PA in the laboratory of Dr. Alexander Mullerto study mechanisms of pathological immune tolerance associated withtumor development. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or M.D degree. Abackground in cellular and molecular immunology is preferred. Experiencewith isolation, culture and evaluation of the function of T cellsand/ordendritic cells is a benefit.
