Applications are invited for a one-year postdoctoral position in theDepartment of Chemical and Biological Engineering at RensselaerPolytechnic Institute beginning January/March 2008.
The project involves development of a novel high-throughput techniquefor si/shRNA transfection of mammalian cells in microarray culture.Project will be funded by an NSF-STTR grant in collaboration withSolidus Biosciences, Inc. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in ChemicalEngineering, Chemistry, Biology or a related discipline and significantexperience in mammalian cell culture, interference RNA, and geneknockdown analysis. Position may be extended for two additional yearscontingent upon funding.
