(BAT IIa/ position in the German Public Service salary scale; initiallyfor two years; thereafter, mutually desired contract prolongation highly probable)
Successful candidates must have a PhD, MD or DVM degree and must havepublication-documented expertise in
1) Autoimmunity, Transplantation Immunology and/or immune privilegeresearch and/or
2) substantial expertise in immunohistology/immunofluoresence and/or insitu hybridisation
The successful candidate will work side-by-side on two related projects:
A) Autoimmune mechanisms of hair follicle damage (focus: epithelial stemcell destruction),
B) Characterisation and manipulation of immune privilege (model: hairfollicle; model diseases: alopecia areata, cicatricial alopecias)
