A current opening for a two-year NIH funded postdoctoral associateposition is available at the City University of New York, Lehman Collegeto study bacterial signaling and sensing mechanism during host cellinvasion. The successful applicant will focus on the structure andfunction of a Sinorhizobium meliloti periplasmic signaling protein,ExoR, which is also found in both animal and plant pathogens, and itspotential interactions with other proteins using biochemical andmolecular biology approaches.
