Postdoctoral Researcher
Generation of a protein-protein interaction network for Alzheimer’s disease
The Neuroproteomics group of Prof. E. Wanker is seeking outstandingcandidates for a network biology project focusing on the generation of aprotein-protein interaction network for Alzheimer’s disease. Experiencewith biochemical and molecular biology techniques is required;experience in cell biology and high-throughput proteomics/ yeast twohybrid screening will be appreciated.
The group pursues highly competitive research aims in the internationalneurodegeneration and proteomics fields. Candidates are expected to behighly motivated and reliable, and to be willing to develop theirconceptual and writing skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as wellas willingness to work in a team. Opportunities to developcollaborations with other groups in Germany and abroad are offered.
Applicants should have a PhD or MD/PhD and have authored at least threearticles published in international peer review journals.
Remuneration is E13/TVöD (East), one year limited contract, extendableto three years, to start immediately.
