Position: Post-doc in “New players involved in the maintenance of genomic stability” TEAM project
Number of stipends: 1
Institution : Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw
Maximum period of stipend agreement: 32 months
Position starts on: 11.2012
Stipend’s amount: 6000PLN/month
Pension insurance: yes
Key responsibilities include:
1. Mechanisms , factors influencing fidelity of DNA replication in Escherichia coli and Saccharomyces cerevisiae
2. Role of Dpb2, a noncatalytic subunit of DNA Polymerase epsilon, in genome stability.
Profile of candidates:
1. PhD degree (or equivalent) in one of life sciences disciplines obtained within the last four years
2. Outstanding publication record
3. Be highly motivated
4. Be proficient in English
5. Experience in molecular biology, genetics and in working with bacteria and/or yeast field is highly desired
