Description
A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Department ofBiochemistry & Molecular Biology at University of Maryland,Baltimore to study molecular networks linking metabolism, gene-dietinteractions and bioenergetics to cell growth and carcinogenesis.
We are focused on identifying transcriptional networks linking nutrientsignaling to metabolism and aberrant cell growth. These studies willinvolve identification of transcription factor complexes andcharacterization of protein-protein and DNA-protein interactions andtheir control of gene expression at the molecular, cellular and wholeorganism level.
We are looking for individuals who desire a stimulating, interactive andexciting work environment and are well trained in cell and molecular biology.
