A postdoc position on the prediction of transmembrane protein structures .

Job Description:

The Computational Systems Biology Lab (http://csbl.bmb.uga.edu) of the University of Georgia is seeking a candidate for a postdoctoral research associate position to work on prediction of transmembrane protein structures.
 
The applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in biophysics, computational chemistry, bioinformatics, computer science or other computational sciences. We are particularly interested in candidates who have working experience in protein structure prediction. Knowledge in Monte Carlo simulations, threading  techniques, combinatorial optimization will be a plus. Strong ability in  computer programming is required. The candidate should be willing to work  in a team environment and should be interested in working with both  experimental and computational groups.
