Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in the area ofcomputational genomics and bioinformatics. Specifically, the researchwill be focused on the emergence, evolution, and regulation of genes(coding and non-coding) involved in the development and function ofneurons and human brains. In general, the group is interested incomparative genomics and integrated analysis of functional genomics datato study the organization, dynamics and functions of the human genome.We seek a highly motivated individual with experience in bioinformaticsand comparative genomics. An ideal candidate should have strongprogramming skills. Knowledge of biological principles, microarrayanalysis, and statistics will be a plus. The successful candidate isexpected to work closely with biological experimentalists, who havestrong research interests in aging, neuronal development, andneurodegenerative diseases.
