Description
Istituto di Genomica Applicata (IGA) is an independent research institute that was recently founded by the University of Udine and the Udine Science and Technology Park (see http://www.appliedgenomics.org for more info). IGA has played an important role in the sequencing and annotation of the grapevine genome (see Nature, 2007, 449:463-7).
We are looking for post-doctoral fellows with expertise in molecular and/or population genetics, genomics and bioinformatics who will work on stimulating research projects in grapevine, poplar and wheat genomics at the Istituto di Genomica Applicata in Udine, Italy.
We seek highly motivated persons with original ideas and willing to work in a team. We offer a stimulating and technologically up to date workplace with multidisciplinary competences.
