The University of Nevada, Reno is requesting applications for aPostdoctoral Fellow position in the laboratory of Dr. Claus Tittiger inthe Dept. of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University ofNevada, Reno. This position will do research in insect functionalgenomics, molecular biology and biochemistry. Our objectives are tostudy the regulation and production of mountain pine beetle pheromonecomponents and to characterize bark beetle P450 enzymes involved inmonoterpene metabolism. Preferred candidates should have a Ph.D. in amolecular life science field and a solid background in molecular biologyand/or microarrayanalysis. Experience with protein chemistry,enzymology, molecular modeling, GC/MS an asset but not required. Salarycommensurate with experience.
