Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Responsibilities:

We are seeking candidates for a postdoctoral position in Zemin Zhang’s group, in the department of Bioinformatics, to perform original basic research in oncogenomics. We aim to contribute to the advancement of the cancer genomics by developing bioinformatics methods for analyzing various high-throughput data, such as expression microarray, SNP chip, array CGH, and point mutation data. The successful candidate will be expected to formulate hypotheses, develop computational tools, interpret data and publish quality research papers accordingly.

Requirements:

A PhD in Computational Biology or a related field, along with proficient programming skills and first-author publication in the
area of bioinformatics or genomics. Knowledge of cancer-related pathways is desirable.
