Description
We are interested in how nuclear hormone receptors regulate stem cell fate decisions. We are currently focused on adipogenesis and the systemic metabolic implications of altering adipocyte cell fate. This work has implications for understanding the pathogenesis of diabetes and the metabolic syndrome.
We are seeking a talented young scientist interested in combining molecular biology with in vivo mouse models to explore the molecular mechanisms regulating cell fate decisions and the systemic implications of altering the cell fate program.
Post-doctoral applicants should have at least one first author publication in a high ranking peer reviewed journal. Experience with mice is an advantage.
