Job Description Post-doctoral in Cell Signaling
A postdoctoral fellow position is available immediately at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Department of Systems Biology (formerly Dept. of Molecular Therapeutics) to study the novel strategy for treatment of HER2-positive breast cancer.
The laboratory focuses on cancer cell signaling and dysregulation of the cell cycle during tumorigenesis, developing new approaches to overcome therapeutic resistance in HER2-positive breast cancer, modeling cancer in mice to examine therapeutic targets. Ongoing studies include identification of novel targets/pathways that can slow tumor development and cancer metastasis for breast cancer and lymphoma.
Applicants must have a recent doctoral degree with strong record of scientific accomplishments as evidenced by first-author papers. Qualified candidates must also demonstrate excellent communication skills, have a strong passion and commitment to science.
