Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral researcher to become a contributing member of our stem cell vascular engineering laboratory. The candidate’s research will focus on using stem cells and engineering to induce vascularization, but the specific projects will be determined by the candidate’s background and interests. Qualified candidates should have a strong publication record and experience in chemical, materials or biomedical engineering, or a related field, and have a desire to conduct interdisciplinary and collaborative research with researchers within the Departments of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering and the Institute for Cell Engineering at the School of Medicine. Background in any or all of the following fields is beneficial but not required: micro/nanofabrication, polymer synthesis and characterization, microfluidics, and stem cell culture and biology.
