Description
Postdoctoral research fellow positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Catherine Wu at the Cancer Vaccine Center, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School. Donor lymphocyte infusion is an effective immunotherapy for eradicating chronic leukemia. We have used samples from patients undergoing DLI to identify immune responses against tumor antigens. These leukemia-associated targets are possible antigens for use in immunotherapy for chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). We are looking for motivated applicants to work in projects in translational immunology to improve our understanding and development of vaccines for treating leukemias.
