Employer: Virginia Commonwealth University
job description
A position is open for a postdoctoral researcher to study the biology of sestrins and their role in stress response, cancer and ageing. Currently, we study the role of Sestrins in mammalian physiology and we have shown recently that Sestrins are a family of highly-conserved, p53-inducible proteins involved in regulation of the AMPK -TOR pathway. The applicant should have a Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology or related fields and be able to work with animals. A competitive salary will be commensurate with experience. Interested applicants should send their CV, description of research interests and names of three referees to Dr. A.
